Curious about all the different species present near you? See a plant or an animal species you want to know about, document and share?

The India Biodiversity Portal (IBP) IOS app now allows you to map the Indian sub-continents biodiversity through citizen science. Access to the app is via a simple registration and login process.
- Browse Observations to see birds, mammals, reptiles, amphibians plants, fungi or fish that have been sighted and submitted from near your location
- Upload Observations to submit images with time and GPS locations. These records will help build occrrence information for all identified species. You may also upload unidentified species and ask help from the community on the portal to identify it. A draft sighting with GPS coordinates can be saved for submission at a later time, if there is no connectivity.
- Keeptrack of all your observations in the My Observations" section.
